Winter Preperation: Studded Tires

  Traction is one of the most important aspects of riding in the winter, and if you've ever ridden in the winter without proper tires you know it can be hell on wheels.  A way to remedy that feeling of not being in control is by installing studded tires, which makes a world of difference. 
  Whether you ride a 26" or 700/29" wheeled bike in the winter we have a wide assortment to available from 100stud count to 300 stud count tires.  Just to mention a few of the brands we carry:  Nokian, Continental, Innova, Kenda, Suomi and if we don't stock it we can get it!

Hot Off the Stand: Orange One Alfine Disc Brake

  I really enjoy seeing unique builds like this leave the shop knowing the customer received just what they had in mind.  The Shimano Alfine 8sp hub and front disc brake are the two features that make this bike awesome.  Slap some fenders and a studded tire in front and this rig is ready for the winter!
