Now Available: Milwaukee Bicycle Co. Polo Crankset

Milwaukee Polo Crankset (Crank Arms ONLY)

Stiff 165mm Andel crankset with modest MKE Polo logo on right crank arm.  Perfect to pair with the Polo Guard.  Nice mid-range crankset for your polo setup, but this is not "polo specific".

Use it as your all around single speed crankset if you like!

• 110mm BCD
• Use with 103mm JIS square taper bottom bracket for 45mm chainline.

Polo Guard Fitment - Any 110bcd Crankset

We have had some questions about the Polo Guard only fitting on Sugino XD cranksets with the Sugino's proprietary offset spider arm. Although we did design the PG/XD system for our own reasons; it is not the end all.
As the above image illustrates, the PG can be mounted on any 110bcd crankset. Simply changing the location of the ring to the inside of the spider (seen in top section of image) instead of the outside as the XD system was designed (lower section).
The top section with the two Sinz cranks (front and back view) show the PG mounted in this fashion. The Sinz crankset is for illustration purposes only, any 110bcd crank can be used (FMF, FSA, Fly Racing, AC Racing, BulletProof, etc.).
A longer BB will have to be used with any crankset other than a Sugino XD. Although crank/spider offsets vary from crankset to crankset. With the PG mounted to the Sinz crankset seen above, we used a 68x113mm bottom bracket and got a 41mm chainline.
BikePolo.ca member "Manting" from Ontario Canada is using his on a FMF crankset seen here. Maybe he will be kind enough to drop a note and let us know what BB length he is using on his steed.

LOS MARCOS MAYHEM 2008

Christopher "Bainesworth" Baines was the MBC Pologuard winner as MVP at this year's Los Marcos Mayhem in NYC. From what we have seen and heard the Los Marcos Crew put on one hell of a weekend.

Here's what one of the masked luchadores had to say...

"We gave away the pologuard to Christopher “Bainesworth” Baines from Richmond, VA as an MVP prize. The MVP at LOS MARCOS is the one who upholds the essense of LOS MARCOS in the most sincere and notable ways all weekend long. Baines tattooed himself, pulled a lot of shenanigans, and bribed the crap out of us for three straight days. Not to mention he’s a great polo player and fun guy to be around. Getting Los Marcos Tattooed on yourself FOR LIFE is almost ground enough for MVP status..... I mean seriously. I’m still kinda stunned by that."

New Polo Guard Colorways

We've had requests for the Polo Guard in colors so we had a very limited batch anodized.
We didn't put a crankset option with these, but give us a call or email and we'll give you a set of black or silver (165mm or 170mm) arms for $30 extra with the purchase of one of these!
