450-490 Frame/Fork
Any word on colors yet? White always looks classy.
Any ideas what the max tire size you can run?
I'm assuming that my Schwalbe Big Apples won't fit (29 x 2.3") :)
Thanks,
sam~

mr~
700x35c road tire (no nob) will be the largest tire to fit.
Hi,
I'd apreciate your point of view on the best size frame to get for myself.
Im 6'2"
29.5 inch inseam
My current set up has a top tube length of about 57cm, and a 10cm stem length.
I figure the large frame would be best for me. What length of a stem do you think would work best for the large? Any suggestions that I can check out on your site?
Also, whats the approximate shipping charge for a frame to Montreal, and do you charge sales tax to out of state customers?
Thanks
James
do you ship to netherlands?
I really need that frame ;)
tsuresuregusa~
We ship anywhere in the world that UPS will deliver. Netherlands will fall into the England/European rate of $250 USD UPS Worldwide Expedited.
General blurb to all foreign frameset buyers-
We can offer these flat rate shipping services to the following places....
We understand that the rates are rather expensive, but we cannot use USPS for this frame as it is too large of a box, they have size restrictions. These are the best rates we can get through UPS. Also if your country isn't listed we might be able to ship you the frame, but please email us to check. WE WILL ONLY SHIP THIS FRAME UPS.
You are still responsible for any and all customs or import taxes. DO NOT ASK US TO DECLARE A LOWER VALUE, WE WILL NOT DO IT, IT IS AGAINST THE LAW.
Japan: $250 UPS Worldwide Expedited
Australia $275 UPS Worldwide Expedited
England $250 UPS Worldwide Expedited
France $250 UPS Worldwide Expedited
Germany $250 UPS Worldwide Expedited
Canada $175 UPS Worldwide Expedited
Canada $50 UPS Standard Ground
James~
With a 29.5" inseam I would lean toward the medium. Depends what your standover is on your current bike; you may be fine with the large as well. All the standovers are on our posted geo sheets on the blog.
We don't charge local tax for out of state purchases, but you are still responsible for any and all customs or import taxes. One of the last comments on this blog entry gives Canada rates.
Any other sizing questions feel free to send a email to webmaster@benscycle.com
I am about 6"4 do you think the large would fit me right?
Solomon~
Definitely the large.
Stem length will be determined by your overall cockpit on your current ride (Hbar center to seatpost center, level to the ground).
