What is up with the integrated seat tube?

Integrated seat tubes have been working their way into the professional road bike scene for awhile now; see the Scott Addict and many others, including a new Bianchi road competition that is going to offer integrated as well.
Most of those feature a seat clamp that offer 20mm of seat tube adjustment; although you may have noticed the Amaro does not.
Why is that?
Well, if you are a competent frame builder and have thoroughly measured your client (and your client will only be riding a saddle with a specific rail-to-top height for the life of the bike) you should easily be able to manage such a feat.
