Blame it on your teachers, blame it on the weather.

Happy (college) Friday!

Some new stuff. I was unloading our fresh shipment of All-City double straps and viola! they made a running change. I think. Either way, the ones we got in today are noticeably classier. See...I even clearly labeled them for you...

Also for those of you riding the other guys' F.G.F.S frames, we got in some of them Campy style integrated headsets. In silver and black no less. Bam!

And last but not least, we've been sitting on these for a while. I know winter has been going on for a while now but better late than never, huh? They will be listed here shortly. Want a hat? You lose 80% of your heat out yer head, ya know.

Song of the Week. I was going to see him play Tuesday, but then didn't. He'll be around town again soon I hope. I think the drummer's dad lives around here still.

Swoop em here, and while yer at it, check these bad boys out too. There's only one set of each! If there is more of a demand, we'll build some more.

If you was me then you would do it too.

First, if you miss Always Sunny, try Archer (same time same place). I checked out the first two episodes on the DVRizzy last night and was impressed.

My plans for Saturday were as follows.

1) Run
ii) Eat
C) Nap
IV) Drink
Finally) Spectate

It has been brought to my attention that there something to squeeze in between the ii and the C. I'd say the chances of me pussing out are high, but if you are in the area and the weather holds, it might be worth checking out.

Also, they aren't just for F. G. F-Stylers, you know.

Hmm. That might be it. The song of the week goes out to and strangely unapologetic fan of the band in question. Normal folks gave up after two albums, some held out for 3 or 4, but certain special people remain interested to this day...

Sun Rhyno Lite 48H

Check out that cross section! This is one burly rim. Low profile but tough as nails. Our fellow Polo aficionado Matt Hewitt will be doing a review on them when his Bruiser is built up so keep an eye out for that. We got a sweet deal on these guys so once they go they may not be available at this price.

We can't help it.....

We try to keep the posts here bike related, but sometime one finds something so unbelievable it has to be pressed.
A website devoted to drawings of recreated album covers made in MS Paint and other simple drawing programs!
If you have a love for music as we do around here, you have to check it out. If not, you have our sincerest apologies for wasting any of your day.
yeah right.

What!? No picture!?, I'll have to make up for it with. Bantor!

We have an eff-ton of mountain bike tires. Lots of them are on sale. WTB, Syncros, Conti, Hutchinson and more. I know, I know most of them are 26" and won't fit on those increasingly popular wagon-wheels. I'm sorry. If you or a loved one has a little wheel problem (like me) Send them our way. Around here we are mostly missing the the second half of downhill, but if your DH, AM, or FR rig needs tires we've got 'em. Seriously, check it out. Do it.

The Song of the week is actually a link to Muzzle of Bees a Milwaukee based music blog.
I'm heading down to Riverwest for the second night (eesh (just kidding)) in a row to check out the urban fervor surrounding the Rural Alberta Advantage with a spurned curly haired surfer named Roberta.

Endeavours into Touring/Commuting

I hope that we've done our part to offer the widest variety of fixed gear accoutrement to anyone who is willingly to peruse our webstore. To add to this collection, we will continue to be picking the best products from BMX, fixed, road, and mountain bike companies.

While the fixed culture is ever so greatly expanding, we will also put an emphasis on touring and commuting. Currently, you can now special order Surly's Long Haul Trucker, Cross-Check, and Travelers Check in our Touring/Commuting section.

Other products will soon be up including the Cinelli Valencia Bar. It is remeniscent of the highly saught after Cinelli Priest Bars (thanks John).

Another product that we are proud to be carrying (soon enough) will be Carradice Bags. Most known for their saddle bags, this English company has been constructing quality canvas products for many decades. We are trying to expose these once very hard to get bags to a broader audience. I personally prefer saddle bags over panniers or a messenger bag/backpack.

Also, check out our variety of racks that can suit any of your needs.

Lastly, we are in search for more 25.4 short stems to suit more handlebars like this sweet Spank Tweet Tweet stem. Perfect match for Atomlab's Cromoly Pimp Bars.

Keep an eye out for these products!

Milwaukee 29er Top Ten on Twently Nine Inches

We made Twenty Nine Inches Top Ten 29er Products of 2009! We even squeezed into the top three. Not too shabby. That picture is making me antsy to get some trail riding in my system. Have to break that thing called laziness and turn off that Hulu first. Thanks Guitar Ted!

Remember School Snow Days?

I do, but I need to get paid. So off to work I go.

A couple of riders this morning at 9 am. It's doubled now. Staying upright with my studded tires. Nokians if anyone cares, 26in 294 Studded for you nerds. There's about 12 inches out now. All hail Wisconsin weather...whatever that means.

Alabama, Arkansas

After a a season of this with a trusty Sram iMotion 3 speed, I decided I wanted real gears for next year. After a failed attempt at selling the frame, I found a use for it. There is a river of despair and then some between the girl and I. So a river of despair bike it will be.

After hating on the new FSA Metropolis bars a bit, I grabbed one and installed it "high flyer" style. I added some Avid FR-5 Levers and some Single Digit 7's, too. All pretty economy really. This way, set up as a single speed, I should be able to flip the bars and switch the brake cables around easily to enjoy the "low rider" option. It is going to need some fenders and a rack and/or basket yet. I'm thinking SKS Commuter fenders and a Axiom Streamliner rear rack. Depending how they work, maybe we'll get some for stock. Any thoughts? I'll post the finished product when its done.

I'll leave you with a favorite song of the week.
